She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Canavan; her son George Canavan; and her son-in-law Bill Scheetz. She is survived by: her children, Carol McKay (Dave), Jack Canavan (Debbie), Marilyn Scheetz (Jerry Strong), Nancy Solak (Stephen), Sally Canavan (Chuck Johnson) and Patrick Canavan (Patricia); her grandchildren, Michelle, Jennifer, Kimberly, Kourtney, Patrick, Jack and Frank; and her great grandchildren, Tommy, Sonny, Ian, Kenley, Cannon, Aria, Steven, Matty and Alexandria.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish-St. Charles Church (7345 Westview Dr, Boardman, OH 44512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes can take the form of contributions to the donor's favorite animal charity or to Hospice of the Valley Hospice House, 9805 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH 44514 in memory of Dee.
