He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene J. Donoghue and Anne L. Cavanaugh Donoghue; his sister Diane Donoghue; his wife Norma Jean; his daughter Mary Ann; his brother Joe (Muriel); his brother-in-law Ronald Delluomo; Ann George, Thomas Drummond, John Drummond, James Drummond, Paul Drummond, Joseph Drummond, Mariellen Werner, Faye Untch, Louise Datillo and Donna Graham.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward Donoghue Jr. (Sharon), Patrick "Lefty" Donoghue (Dana), Daniel Donoghue (Rhonda) and Timothy Donoghue (Jody); his grandchildren, Erin Hagerty (Daniel), Brian, Brittany Chimento (Anthony), Kaley, Kelly Woods (Colie), Kirstin Kuczma (Andrew), Nicholas, Breanne, Kyle, Connor and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Aiden, Anna Hagerty, Peyton, Riley Kuczma, Emma, Erin Woods, Jensen Donoghue and Norma Chimento; his sisters, Mary Lou Carrillo (Jesus) and Patricia Delluomo; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Gibson, Margaret Drummond, Patricia Courtney Drummond and Michael Drummond (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
