It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth R. Panno of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel J. Cappitte and June A. Cappitte (Fleischer); and her husband Alex Panno. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Panno of Youngstown and Georgeann Rodriquez of Austintown; her grandchildren, Frank Garcia (Christine), Georgeann DiRando (Michael), Jennifer Hunt (James), Tabitha Schewirey, Anthony Garcia, Sherri Greathouse (Alan), Philip Garcia (Bri), Elizabeth Schewirey and Luis Serrano; her siblings, William Cappitte, Daniel Cappitte and June Cappitte; her son George Schewirey; her siblings, Ruth Cappitte, Beverly Pazel (Cappitte), Samuel Cappitte and John Cappitte; her son-in-law Elias Rodriquez; and her grandsons, Christopher and Timothy Rodriquez. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kinnick Funeral Home (477 N Meridian Rd, Youngstown, OH 44509). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
