It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma Niemi (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Giancola and Erminia Giancola (De Filippis); her husband Herbert W. "Crow" Niemi; and her siblings, Mary Thomas, Sarah Mignella, Benedict Giancola, Joseph Giancola, Dan Giancola, Angelo Giancola, Nancy Sylvester and Annie Giancola.

She is survived by: her children, Gina Zwingler (Randy) of Pine, CO, Jackie Chorey (Andy) of Poland, William Niemi (Denise) of Salem and Mark Niemi (Marcie) of Bath; and her sister Jean Miletta of Poland.

Memorial tributes may take the form of donations in Erma's name to New Life Church's missions fund.
