He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Eugene and Mary Barnes (Madden); and his siblings, John "Jack", William, Richard, Terry, Jimmy and Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Julia (Datson); his children, Bernice Templeman, Patricia Lendon (Greg), Michael Barnes, Sue Kennedy (John) and Colleen Tsambarlis (Stratos); his grandchildren, Tara, Patrick, Autumn Lendon and JJ Kennedy; and his brothers, Bob (Ann Marie "Peach") and Larry Barnes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
