It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Adkisson (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Frank's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Frank has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Adkisson and Nellie Stanford Adkisson; and his brother Joe Adkisson. He is survived by: his sisters, Liz Fasano of Pennsylvania, Brenda Adkisson of Columbus, Lynn Calderon (Eddie) of Warren and Shirley Adkisson of Youngstown. He is also survived by two sons, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home Inc. (1951 McGuffey Rd, Youngstown, OH 44505). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
