He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McGovern and Mary Florence McGovern; Mary Ann Myer. He is survived by: his wife Patti McGovern; his children, Bob McGovern (Kerry Flynn) and Mollie Hartup (Bret); and his grandchildren, Caden Hartup and Rowan Hartup.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home (4700 Market St, Youngstown, OH 44512). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Christine Church (3165 S Schenley Ave, Youngstown, OH 44511).
