He was predeceased by: his parents, George Demetrios and Mary Demetrios (Pavlechko); his daughter Leslie Demetrios; and his brother Charles Demetrios. He is survived by: his wife Diane Demetrios (Illes); his son Nicholas Demetrios (Lora); his grandchildren, Delaney, Alex and Lily; and his sister-in-law Waltraud "Wallie" Demetrios. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
