He was predeceased by: his parents, James E Jackson and Clara Perrow Jackson; his brother Philip Jackson; his sister-in-law Margaret Jackson (Peggy); his parents-in-law, Catherine Leftwich and Jerome Donald; and his sister-in-law Mildred Donald.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy A Donald; his siblings, Darryl Jackson of New Howland, PA and Michelle McPhatter (Charles) of Woodbridge, VA.; his grandchildren, Josiah and Janessa Jackson of Rockville; his cousin Tracy Jackson; his siblings-in-law, Charles Donald (Cleone) and Betty McPhatter (Gerald); and his close friends, Jesse Dukes, Larry Ready, George Austin Sr. and Robert Sims. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
