With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Jay Carter (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his siblings, Merriam Fields, James "Joe" Carter Jr., Emmanuel Carter (Peggy), George Carter, Arthur Carter, Renwick "Pete" Carter (Christine), Reginald Carter, Sarah Jane Harden (Ralph) and Mary Burke; his close friend Antoinette Bell; his siblings, James Earl Carter and Twintella Turner; and his siblings-in-law, Rodney S. Fields Sr. and Quantrilla Carter (Darlene Coward-Carter).

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (1507 Hillman St, Youngstown, OH 44507).
