He is survived by: his wife Ann R. Shields; his children, Herman "Dail" McDavid of Youngstown and Lisa D. McDavid of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; his grandson Christopher Whitfield-McDavid of Ft. Wayne, IN; his siblings, Harold McDavid (Lula) of Campbell, Fannie McDavid Jones of Memphis, TN and Robert McDavid of Macon, MS; and his sisters-in-law, Velma McDavid of Washington, DC and Mildred McDavid of Maryland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
