She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Hubbard and Clara Jackson Hubbard; her husband Cladyes Hayes Jr.; her daughter Jacqueline A. Lucas; and her siblings, Wesley, Will, Willie, Ben, Jim, George, Eddie Lee, Celie Moore and Georgia Cade.
She is survived by: her daughter Mae Emma Nicholson (Bailey); her grandchildren, Tasha M. Miner (Lorenzo), John J. Shelton III, Jacqueline T. and Marquel J. Lucas; her son-in-law Mark W. Lucas; her siblings-in-law, Mirriam Hubbard, Gladys Wilson Marva Wilson, Carol Hayes, Dr. Louise Hayes and Norris Hayes; and her friend Willie J. Turner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home Inc. (1951 McGuffey Rd, Youngstown, OH 44505). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
