He was predeceased by: his father James E. Arden Sr.; and his sister Sharon Volchko. He is survived by: his children, Charlene L. Johnson (Gene) of Youngstown and James M. Arden of Youngstown; his grandchildren, Courtney Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Erin Johnson and Elijah Arden; his great grandchildren, Coen and Callie; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Arden of Youngstown; his sister Brenda Peter of California; and his wife Sandra K. "Sandy" Jarrell Arden.
