He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Buist and Pelagia Kondzielski Buist; and his son Michael Buist. He is survived by: his wife Janet Fennell; and his children, Karen Kiger (David) of Boardman, Deborah Martin (Kenneth) of Columbiana, Kimberly Ward (James) of Las Vegas, Jim Buist (Dana) of Canfield, Kenny Krecken (Rosa) of Boarman and Kathy Scheetz (Kurt) of South Port. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
