He is survived by: his wife Theresa A. Strah Hopper; his children, Theresa Marie Gearheart (Rodney) of Greenwich and James R. Hopper Jr. of Niles; his grandsons, Jesse, Luke and Owen; and his siblings, Andy Hopper (Joyce) of Garrettsville, Jeanette Krygowski (Tom) of Warren and Jerry Hopper (Diana) of Newton Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kinnick Funeral Home (477 N Meridian Rd, Youngstown, OH 44509). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
