She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rovnak and Mary Mochtak Rovnak. She is survived by: her children, James of Youngstown and Kimberly of Cleveland; and her siblings, Carole Kojancic of Boulder, CO and Richard "Dick" Rovnak of Poland. She is also survived by many extended family members and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, Janie's family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Mahoning County Dog Warden 1230 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, OH 44509.
