JoAnn left this world on October 1, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Skurich and Josephine Jackobec Skurich; her husband William Clark Avery; her daughter Tammy Maxwell; her sister Bev Zetts; and her siblings-in-law, Rich Zetts, John and Kathy Avery.
She is survived by: her children, Trudy and Paul Avery; her granddaughter Sarah Maxwell; her brother Mike Skurich (Monica); and her sibling's children, Shannon, Kristi, Mary, Erin, Lauren, John, Michael and Matthew. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home - Poland Chapel (2726 Center Rd, Youngstown, OH 44514). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (2729 Center Rd, Youngstown, OH 44514).
