He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burek and Mary Yakubov Burek. He is survived by: his sister Carol Lesko of Garrettsville; his niece Carrie Lesko of Garrettsville; his nephew Frank Lesko (Andrea) of Mayfield Heights; and his great-niece Lucy.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Blaise Parish, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
