We announce the death of John Earl Gregory Jr. (Youngstown, Ohio), born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 69. John Earl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Gregory (Snell) and John Sr. Gregory; his brother Robert Gregory; and his daughter Victoria Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Delphine Gregory (Shivers); his children, Valerie Gregory of Pittsburgh, Pamela Gregory of Columbus, Angela Gregory, Anita Gregory-Simmons of Youngstown and Robert Gregory of Youngstown; and his siblings, Linda Gregory-Hayden (Tyrone) of Youngstown, Kathy Gregory of Cleveland and Tyrone Gregory of Youngstown. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
