It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph D. Smith (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor J. Smith and Mary Williams Smith; and his siblings, Victor Smith, Betty Berry, Mary Louise Shea, Susan Fercana, Donna Houser and JoAnn Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hodos Smith; his children, Anastasia "Stacey" Wilson (Joe Meyers) of Boardman and Joseph V. Smith of Seffner, FL; his granddaughters, Candice Kridler (Richard), Brittany Smith and Crystal Wilson; his great grandchildren, Cloie Lamoureux, Joseph Lamoureux and Iseah Mathis; and his sister Charlene Smith of Youngstown.
