With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Janik (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on January 1, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lamanna and Alberina Tedeshi Lamanna; and her siblings, Rose Briach, Mary Jane Sagula, Antonett Jammeli Napolitano and Ralph Lammana.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Janik; her children, Dr. John Janik (Elaine), Larry Janik of Youngstown, Ed Janik (Vickie) of Niles and Rosemary Binder (Michael) of North Jackson; her grandchildren, Dr. John (Christina), Elizabeth Docksteader (Brett), Jillian Havaich (Cody), Ross Janik and Melissa Drawdy (Chris); her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Gavin Docksteader, Harper, Hendrix Havaich and Erin Noll; and her friends, Roxanne, Sandy, Lois, Anna and Sharon.
