It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Mae Brown of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brack Steverson and Julia McCain Steverson; her former husband Ulice Williams; her husband Pressley Brown; her granddaughter L'Oreal E. Williams; and her siblings, Bessie M. Williams, Lucy M. Clayton, Melvin and William Steverson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Williams, Leatha M. Mitchell (Chester) and Jerome Williams; her grandchildren, Larry (Donisha), Trajmon (LaToya), Elaina (Shawn), Chevar, Kyesha, Chester Jr., Mariah (Eugene), Jayleen, Gemma, Asia, Jada and Jennifer; and her friend Lowndesboro. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
