She is survived by: her daughters, Torrie Ruffin of Columbus and Kayla Ruffin of Columbus; her fiancé Calvin Collins; her siblings, Terri Whipple (Wallace) of Youngstown, Ohio, Cyrus Hawthorne (Beverly) of Orlando, Florida, Aaron Hawthorne (Tamika) of Columbus, Ohio and Eric Harrison of Hagerstown, Maryland.; and her close friends, Terri Kent and Carolyn Abbott.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Third Baptist Church (1177 Park Hill Dr, Youngstown, OH 44502). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
She was also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. which fosters the ideals of service, charity and scholarship thereby promoting community-conscious and action-oriented results which were aligned with her personal mantra.
