She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Thomae and Katharina Eisner Thomae; and her siblings, Katharina Reschner and John Thomae. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Hopkins of Girard and Andrew Shuger of Campbell; her grandchildren, Abigail (Andre), James, Madison and Autumn; her great grandchildren, Amiya, Amari and Amina; her sister Sofia Pusztai of Brunswick; and her husband Paul J. "Sonny" Shuger.
