She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Hull and Elmer Hull; and her siblings, Donald Hull and Doris Ogle. She is survived by: her husband Y. T. Chiu; her children, Kevin Chiu (Lynn), Karen Chiu, Katherine Giunta and Kimberly Rory (Dennis); her grandchildren, Alexander Chiu (Cali), Allyson Chiu, Trey Giunta (Regan), Riley Chiu-ElKhafif (Ahmed), Richard Furman, Taylor Giunta, Patrick Furman and Katelyn Chiu; her great grandchild Rory Giunta; her sisters, Dorothy Merreot and Dolores Whittington; and her caregivers, Marilyn, Alice and Carmen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (3300 Canfield Rd, Youngstown, OH 44511). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Zion Lutheran Church or to the Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown so her memory may bloom through the flowers she loved so dearly.
