She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis M. Ress and Anna K. Ress; and her husband Joseph F. Lyden Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Martha A. Neveu (James), Diane Lyden, Kathleen Bultema (Ronald), Joseph F. Lyden III (Kathleen) and Nancy Shortman (Glenn); and her grandchildren, Julie Simon (Joseph), Christina Zepf (Arthur), Margaux Preston (Ash), Jennifer Cake, Suzanne Bolden (Matthew), Lauren Forbus, Joseph F. Lyden IV (Rachel), Caitlin Lyden, Kathryn Standish (Evan), Glenn Shortman Jr. (Rebecca), Laura, Carolyn and Paul Shortman. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home (4700 Market St, Youngstown, OH 44512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (7345 Westview Dr, Boardman, OH 44512). A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:30 PM at 247 S Belle Vista Ave, Youngstown, OH 44507.
