He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Watson and Rosemarie Watson (Darlington); his son Erik McGough; his brother John "Jack" Edwards; and his brother-in-law Dr. Francis Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Shary Beckenbach; his children, William McGough (Amanda) of Charlotte, NC and Kelly Cioletti (Matthew) of Brunswick, OH; his grandchildren, Victoria, Jacob, Caroline, Abigail McGough and Avery Cioletti; his brother Thomas Watson (Lisa) of Dallas, TX; his half-sister Mary Snyder; his sisters-in-law, Dr. Leslie Fletcher of Dallas, TX and Margaret Edwards of Ocala, FL; his nieces and nephews, John Watson (Larkin), Elizabeth Edwards, Ryan Watson (Ashley), Alexis Willis (Rob), Ben Fletcher (Adrian) and Calley Fletcher (April); Heidi Wendt of Watertown, Wisconsin.
