With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman J. Adams Sr. (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Adams and Beatrice McClure Adams; his wife Gloria Dubois Adams; his in-laws, Elijah and Elnora DuBois; and his children, Norman Jr. and Sonja Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Adams of Youngstown and Shawna Adams of Columbus, Ohio; his sister Prophetess Shirley Adams of Youngstown; and his grandchildren, DeAndre Robinson, Kendall Montgomery, Priya, Alexis, Kennedy, Kelsey and Skylar Adams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home Inc. (1951 McGuffey Rd, Youngstown, OH 44505). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
