He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Robert Chrystal and Ann Chrystal (Hyland); his son Patrick Chrystal; his granddaughter Ryleigh Griffith; and his siblings, Peggy Chrystal, Martin and William Chrystal.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Chrystal (McGarry); his daughter Shawn M. Chrystal (Mark Griffith); his grandchildren, Keighan Griffith and Mackenzie Chrystal Grant; his siblings, Elizabeth, Susan Chrystal, J. Robert Chrystal (Barbara), Pete and Jeff Chrystal (Nora); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Depp, Patty Crago (Kenny) and Bill McGarry (Joy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Pat will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, unwavering love for family, and his contributions to the community.
