He is survived by: his siblings, Henry Chavez (Lorna) of Southington, Josephine Martinez (Bill) of San Antonio, Amelia Stefanoff (Stephen) of Austintown, Carmen Chavez of Austintown and Sister Petra Chavez of Tiffin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
