She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Rowe and Roberta Duncan Pierce; her stepfather Hardy Pierce Sr.; her brother Ralph Rowe; her stepbrother Hardy Pierce Jr.; and her grandsons, Quincy Little and Raymond Marrow.
She is survived by: her husband Walter L. Smith; her children, Juanita DuBois (Tavon), Christopher Smith (Jasmine) and Stacey Torres; her stepdaughter Tracey Spencer; her siblings, Roslyn Stonework and Kevin Pierce (Vera); and her stepbrother Franklin Pierce (Mildred). She is also survived by grandchildren, ten great children.
