We bid farewell to Richard A. Benson of Youngstown, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Arthur Benson and Maude Edith Benson (Storey); his siblings, Arthur T. Benson, Virginia Benson Ladig and Herbert L. Benson; and his parents-in-law, Stephen Milicich and Mildred Milicich (Adamovich).

He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Milicich); his sons, Josh (Kim Burke), Matthew (Sarah Beasley) and Lucas (Libby Fawcett); his brother R. Thomas Benson; his sister-in-law Cindy Milicich; his grandchildren, Sydney (Jeremy), Olivia, Emily, Bridget, Jack, Maggie, Mary, Caroline and Cindy; and his pets, Zeke, Ruby, Louie and Kato.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, Ohio.
