He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burgess and Ruby Burton Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Louise Burgess (Adams); his sons, Daniel Burgess (Carolyn) of Black Earth, Robert Burgess (Stephanie) of South Carolina and Richard Burgess (Joanna Mooberry) of Chicago; and his siblings, Barbara Maclellan (Raymond) of Nova Scotia, Kathy Williams (Dale) of Austintown and John Burgess (Charlotte) of Youngstown. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
