He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Thomas and Ruth Clarkson Thomas; his son Don Pangburn; his grandson Kayo Melton; and his sister Judy Heaven.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri Kuhnwald Thomas; his children, Aprile-Love Thomas-Ward (Donny) of Elko, Nev, Ricky Thomas III (Lulu) of Girard, Jodi Weldy (John) of Wonewoc, Wis, Katy Pangburn (Darren) of Baraboo, Brian Thomas of Las Vegas and Kadie Thomas of Girard; and his sister Sharryn Jones (Alan) of Brookfield. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A reception was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sherri's Home.
