He was predeceased by: his parents, William K. McCoy and Minnie Alston McCoy Hurdle; his wife Ruby Lee Winston McCoy; his children, Lenwood P. McCoy and Robert W. McCoy; and his siblings, William "Bill" McCoy Minnie Patterson and Carol Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly McCoy of Youngstown, Ronald McCoy of Youngstown, Sonya McCoy of Youngstown and Nikki Willner (Kenneth) of Willoughby, OH; and his sister Doris Boone of Youngstown. He is also survived by five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home Inc. (1951 McGuffey Rd, Youngstown, OH 44505). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
