He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Louvenia; his children, Simmie L. Coleman, Jr. (Brenda), Christopher J. Coleman, Shelda A. Coleman-Blackwell and Allison C. Reese (Guy); his grandchildren, Ariana M. Ahyee, Joshua N. Blackwell, Gregory Coleman and Ryan Harrison; his great grandchild Gabriella Coleman; his sister Shirley T. Coleman-Green; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Coleman and Zeak Thornton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
