With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Steven P. Welcsh (Youngstown, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Steven left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steven touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Welcsh and Edith Raduly Welcsh; his brother Thomas Welcsh; his parents-in-law, Charles and Josephine Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Simon Sarkis, John Acerra and Barbara Acerra.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Thomas Welsch; his daughter Charlotte Rogers (Keith) of Canfield; and his grandchildren, Andrew Rogers (Maggie Paris) and Sara Rogers. He is also survived by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church (1555 S Meridian Rd, Youngstown, OH 44511). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
