She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Rice and Kathryn M. Zimmer Rice; and her husband Francis "Frank" Smith. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Kim Kossick (Ed), Mark Smith (Karen) and Scott Smith (Marlene); and her sisters, Marjorie O'Malley, Jean Rice and Elaine Brenner (Harry). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
