It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter V. Evanoski (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Evanoski and Gertrude Lewandowski; and his siblings, Martha, Ed, Joe, Leo, Ray, Bill, Bernice and Emily.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Varner; his children, Janet Page (Rocky) of Canfield, Kathe Mazzarino (Frank) of Memphis, Tennessee, Walter Evanoski (Barb) of Houston and Edward Evanoski (Jill) of St. Louis, Missouri; his sister Clara Gittings (Michael) of New Jersey; his stepchildren, Janet Misel (Christopher Kalis) of Youngstown, James Misel (Tina) of Poland and Jennifer Misel of Howland; his grandchildren, Caitlin Douglas (Winston), Alexis Page, Michael Evanoski (Kathryn) and Grace Evanoski; his great grandchild James Douglas; and his stepgrandchildren, Sophia, Holden Misel, Abby and Andrew Prvonozac. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
