He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ealy and Marie Ealy (McCune); his siblings, Linda Sue Smeltzer, Edith Marie Smeltzer, Wilma Jean Hosey and Edward Ealy; and his niece Lucretia Elizabeth Flickinger.
He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah Lee, Martha Conrad and Paul Ealy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were part of his extended family.
