She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Izzo and Mary Izzo (Weisenburger); her husband Ralph Smith; and her siblings, Charles Izzo and Mary Rubadue.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Smith (Lisa Davy) of California, Douglas Smith (Kirsten) of North Carolina, Christine Kenney (Thomas) of Ohio, Philip Smith of South Carolina and Denise Williams (Brent) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Heather Kennedy (John) of Arizona, Daniel Kenney of Ohio, Laurel Smith of North Carolina, Andrew Smith of North Carolina and Jonathan Williams of Michigan; her great grandchild Chaiston Kennedy; and her siblings, Joe Izzo (Zita) of Wyoming, Jean Izzo of Ohio and John Izzo of Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
