We are sad to announce that, on August 22, 2025, at the age of 88, Anna Lucille McCoy of Zanesville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Best and Nellie Harmon Best; her children, Thomas McCoy, Doris McCoy and Tawnya McCoy; her sisters, Wilma "Red" Smith and Billie Mason; and her grandson Jarod Hobson.
She is survived by: her husband Donald McCoy; her children, Don "Duke" McCoy (Dianna) and Alice McCoy (Ronald McConnell); her sister Susan "Susie" Baker (Byron "Skip"); her grandchildren, Jordan Fisher (Sidney Burkhart), Andrew Fisher and Malia Hobson-Brackeen (Jared); her great grandchildren, Kamden, Eli, Annabelle, Aspen, Reese, Hunter and Olivia; her niece Rhonda Tracy (Patty Sheets); and her close friend Michelle McPeck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Genesis Hospice, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio, 43701 and would like to thank them for their outstanding care.
