He is survived by: his wife Julie Smith (Lightfoot); his children, Chad Smith (Samantha), Rob Smith, Kayla Smith, Michele Pletcher (Roger) and Hayley Smith; his grandchildren, Amara, Blake Thompson, Elijah Helmineck, Archie Thompson, Brittany Pletcher, Josh Pletcher, Zack Smith and Aslynn Smith; his siblings, Kenny Smith, Marvin Smith and Marlene Thompson; his stepchildren, Jennifer Thompson and Gary Thompson; and his niece Kimmy Lang. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home (56 S 5th St, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
