He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry German and Vera German of Zanesville; his wife Dorothy "Dot" German; and his brother Dean German. He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Kathy), Debbie and Doug (Amy); his grandchildren, Tyler German, Alison (Austin), JD, Jimmy Ritchey (Tara), Brian Ritchey (Jennifer), Cali, Bella German, Harper, Ellie Holsky, Makayla, Morgan Ritchey and Quinn Ritchey; and his sister Sue Harple.
