We announce the death of David Brent of Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 84. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Brent and Beulah Brent; and his grandparents, Herbert and Goldie Norris. He is survived by: his brother Paul L. Brent; his nephews, Paul S. Brent, Levi D. Brent and Josh Brent; his niece Becky Black of Indiana; his sisters-in-law, Velma Hill of McConnelsville, Stella Mayle of Columbus, Ella Mayle (Ray) of Canton, Wanda Norris (Jerry) of Zanesville, Janet Brent (Levi) of Zanesville, Sue Flowers of Stewart, Sherry Morgan (Richard) of Fort Mill and Deborah Flowers of Stewart; his stepsiblings, Larry Norris of Zanesville, Greg Norris of Zanesville, Brenda Newman, Victoria Norris, Beverly Norris, Kathy Coleman, Janice Crenshaw and Stephanie Norris; and his brother-in-law Allen Flowers (Joyce) of Glouster. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
