He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville L. Baughman and Thelma Baughman (Marshall); his former wife Ruth Kline Baughman; his wife Sharon Bowman Boyer Baughman; his grandson Michael D. Phillis; his siblings, Richard B. Baughman and Dorothy Baughman; and his sisters-in-law, Geri and Barbara Baughman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Phillis (Dale), Janet Lynn (Larry) of Zanesville, Deborah McCraw (Tim) of Salem, VA, Linda Mitchell (Michael) of Nashport and Patricia Kreager (Kelvin) of Zanesville; his grandson Warren Baughman (Debra) of Zanesville; his special brown-eyeds, Chrissy and English Shepherds; and also, Kimberly Nelson (Harvey) of Akron, Scott Boyer (Cindy) of Zanesville, Steve Boyer (Susan) of Westerville, Todd Boyer (Teresa) of Laura, Jay Boyer of Columbus and Nicholas Boyer of Wheeling, WV. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home (1271 Blue Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701). A masonic service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Calendar Williams Cemetery.
