Though Denny may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Denny touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his sister Rebecca Sims; and his nephew William "Billy" Paul. He is survived by: his daughter Toray Carrel; his parents, Mary E. Carrel and Ralph W. Carrel; his granddaughter Laykin Starkey (Ryhder Smith); and his siblings, John Carrel, Melinda Lubas, Laura Carrel and Amanda Carrel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and numerous close friends.
