We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2024, at the age of 65, Douglas Mell (Zanesville, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Douglas' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Douglas has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Mell and Kay Marie Mell. He is survived by : his sons, Douglas Lee Mell, II (Michelle) of Columbus and Charles William Mell of Columbus; the mother of his children Mischka J. Deveny; and his siblings, Debbie Davis (Jim "Smity" Smith), Denise Mell of Denver, CO, Dee Ann Mell (Betty) of Zanesville, David Mell (Crystal) of Zanesville and Danny Mell (Terri) of Zanesville. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Combs & Nestor Funeral Home (935 Forest Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701).
