He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry V. Howard and Esther Howard (Cooper); his wife Rebecca "Beckie" Howard (Denton); and his brothers, Harry Thurman Howard, Bill Howard, Harley Howard and Stanley Howard.
He is survived by: his sons, Doug Howard (Susan) and Don Howard (Patty); his grandchildren, Keith Howard (Megan), Kari Hoffer (Billy), Kaylee Wilson (Mark), Thomas Howard (Michele), Christopher Howard (Mary), Meagan Rudy (Dylan) and Matthew Howard; his great grandchildren, Reid, Raelyn, Will, Luke, Grant, Wyatt, Abby, Adeline, Aiden, Daxton, Avery, Ayla, Ava and Liam; and his brothers, Jim Howard (Jeanette), Dave Howard and Bob Howard (Gail). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery (1475 Military Rd #111, Zanesville, OH 43701).
