He is survived by: his significant other Karen Bates; his daughters, Jannie Wisecarver (Eric), Hendra Brown and Sandra Spring (Matthew); his siblings, Don Bates (Shantay) and Rachel Miller (Charles); his grandchildren, Garrison, Everly, Dallas, Haley, Matthew, Russell, Madison, Isaac and Catlin; and his close friends, Demmy and Tom. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
